A Waynesboro man was found dead this morning in a vehicle partially submerged in Lake Nelson in Arrington.
Graham Isaac Bolter’s body was found in the driver’s seat, according to the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies arrived just after 7 a.m.
Wintergreen Fire & Rescue’s Swift Water Rescue Unit and a dive team from Virginia State Police assisted deputies at the scene.
The vehicle was found approximately 30 yards from the publicly-accessed boat ramp, according to Sheriff Mark E. Embrey.
The vehicle was extricated from the lake.
Bolter’s body has been transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Richmond.
The investigation is ongoing, according to the NCSO.
