The truth about Sophie Cunningham: If not for White girl DEI, she’s not in the WNBA

Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham, the self-styled MAGA Barbie and obvious WNBA diversity hire – they need as many tall White blondes as they can get in the W, apparently – pulled a stats feat in Sunday’s nationally televised game between her Fever and the Chicago Sky.

Indiana won by 23 points, final score: 113-90, but for the 11 minutes that MAGA Barbie was on the floor, the Fever were outscored by 11.

Cunningham had three points, two rebounds and an assist in the blowout win.

The -10 plus/minus rating for Cunningham last night is not even close to her worst that she’s put up since she went out of her way to sell her sport out to the anti-trans assclowns with comments for an ESPN.com interview last month.

She was -28 in a 90-86 Indiana win at Chicago on Aug. 8.

And I’m not cherrypicking her worst nights here – according to basketball-reference.com, the Fever are a cumulative -6.4 with her on the floor this season.

And that’s with Cunningham shooting a career-best 44.1 percent from three and 47.6 percent overall.

This isn’t a one-year thing for her – last year, Indiana was -5.2 with Cunningham on the floor.

Across her eight career WNBA seasons, she has two that finished at break-even, three where her team was better with her on the floor, and three where the team was worse with her out there.

She’s basically a replacement-level player – a DEI hire, still employed because she’s White, she’s 6’1”, doesn’t outright embarrass herself on the court.

If she’s back in the league next year, it ain’t because she’s earned it, is what I’m getting at here.
