The Baltimore Orioles have promoted prospect Enrique Bradfield Jr. to Norfolk, where he will make his Triple-A debut on Tuesday when the Tides begin a six-game series at Harbor Park with the Nashville Sounds.

Bradfield, a first-round pick in the 2023 MLB Draft out of Vanderbilt, is the #4 prospect in the O’s minor-league system, per MLB.com.

The speedy outfielder had 74 stolen bases in 2024, splitting time at High-A Aberdeen and Double-A Bowie, and in 50 games at the Double-A level in 2025, he has 26 steals, along with a .262 batting average and .779 OPS.

MLB.com projects his MLB ETA as 2026.

The 2024 first-round picks, Vance Honeycutt, a centerfielder from UNC, and Griff O’Ferrall, a shortstop from Virginia, aren’t doing so well right now.

Honeycutt is hitting .168 with a .546 OPS, with four homers, 20 extra-base hits and 168 strikeouts in 411 plate appearances at Aberdeen this season.

Yikes.

O’Ferrall is only doing a little better, stats-wise – .226 batting average, .618 OPS, four homers, 20 extra-base hits and 71 Ks in 474 plate appearances at Aberdeen in 2025.

The 2024 second-round pick, Ethan Anderson, a catcher from Virginia, earned a promotion from Aberdeen to Chesapeake, the new designation for the Double-A team in Bowie.

Anderson hit .257 with a .693 OPS, with three homers and 17 extra-base hits, and 51 Ks, in 283 plate appearances at Aberdeen in 2025, and in 10 games, and 42 plate appearances, at Chesapeake, he’s hitting .184 with a .472 OPS.
