No one was injured overnight when a man robbed a Lynchburg convenience store armed with a rifle.
The incident is under investigation, and police are asking for help identifying the suspect.
According to the Lynchburg Police Department, the incident took place at 1:13 a.m. at a 7-Eleven convenience store on Fort Avenue.
The male suspect was wearing gloves and a mask and approached the clerk and demanded cash.
After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the scene on foot.
