RMH to host cancer survivorship celebration

RMH will host a free program, “Survivorship Celebration: Living Well With a Cancer Diagnosis,” from 5:30-7 p.m. June 7 in hospital conference rooms 2 and 3 on the lower level.

This special program is for cancer survivors, those currently dealing with a cancer diagnosis, and their families. Park in Lot A and enter the main hospital entrance. Signs directing guests to the conference will be posted.

The following presentations will be given:

· “What is New on the Horizon with Cancer Treatments,” presented by Dr. Anish Meerasahib, Oncologist, Hematology Oncology Associates.

· “The Impact of a Cancer Diagnosis on the Family,” presented by Teresa Boshart Yoder, director, RMH Women’s Services, and Lonnie Yoder, PhD, associate dean, Eastern Mennonite Seminary.

Snacks and beverages will be provided. Registration is required. To register, call RMH Healthsource at 564-7200.
