The NASCAR Cup Series will be back in our neck of the woods this weekend, with the return to Martinsville for the Cook Out 400.

Rod Mullins joined me on the podcast, as he does every week during the NASCAR season, to get us ready.

We talked about Kyle Larson’s win last weekend down at Homestead, and Bubba Wallace not seeming to realize that a solid ride in finishing third isn’t the bad thing that he seems to think it is.

We also talked some NASCAR economics, including the latest from the legal back-and-forth involving the front office, 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports, and sponsorship deals with Family Dollar and Hooters falling through.
