A Virginia man is wanted for a hit-and-run accident last year, and State Police are asking for the public’s help locating him.

Dustin Bailey, 36, of Powhatan, has connections in Chesterfield County and the City of Richmond.

He is being sought for an accident on May 26, 2024, where he allegedly struck another car.

According to VSP, at 10:04 a.m. on May 26, a Kia Forte was stopped at a red light on Route 60 (Anderson Highway) at the intersection with Luck Stone Road.

The Forte was then struck in the rear of the vehicle by a Chevrolet Avalanche. The driver of the Avalanche, believed to be Bailey, fled the scene. The driver of the Forte suffered minor injuries.

Bailey is wanted for hit and run and driving without a license, according to police.

Anyone with information on Bailey’s whereabouts is asked to call (804) 750-8758 or email [email protected].
