Norfolk Police have charged a man in connection with an Aug. 14 shooting in Ocean View.
Zion K. Holmes, 20, of Virginia Beach, has been charged with second-degree murder, use of a firearm and robbery.
The incident at Community Beach Park was reported to police at 6:20 p.m. on Aug. 14.
Andrew F. Saafi, 20, of Norfolk, was pronounced dead at the hospital from his injuries.
Holmes was taken into custody by police on Friday in the 1600 block of Brambleton Avenue.
He is currently being held without bond in the Norfolk City Jail.
