The AFP on WREL: Crunch time

Chris Graham

AFP editor Chris Graham joins WREL-1450AM’s “Online with Jim Bresnahan” to talk Virginia sports.

The focus this week is on Virginia Tech basketball – which finds itself back on the NCAA Tournament bubble in what seems to be an annual rite of pre-March Madness talk. Can the Hokies afford a slip-up between now and Selection Sunday? Chris doesn’t think so.

UVa. basketball has a big week ahead of it – with sellout home games with Duke and Virginia Tech. What do the Cavs have left to play for? Chris says with a young team, Tony Bennett’s bunch is building for the future, and a win in either or both of their games this week could lay an important foundation for that future.
