Update: Augusta County authorities ID two in fraud case

Update: Thursday, 8:37 p.m. The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office has identified the two subjects sought in the fraud investigation, according to a news release.

 

Original post: Thursday, 1:10 p.m. fraud caseThe Augusta County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying persons of interest in a fraud investigation.

Several unauthorized credit card purchases have been made at various retailers in the Staunton, Augusta, and Waynesboro.
