Downtown Waynesboro is Alive with 3rd Fridays again Friday night, Nov. 20.
Downtown’s monthly night of dining, shopping, art and entertainment will begin at 5 p.m.
“The River City Radio Hour” will have performances at 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the Blue Ridge Christian Fellowship Cafe and Music Hall, located at 329 W. Main St.., featuring The Boogie Kings, comedy by Marsha Howard, Special Guest Performer: Sandi Belcher, plus Episode Three of Jingle Bell Jubilee written by Elizabeth Massie and Barbra Spilman Lawson.
River City Art & Wine Emporium, located at 407 W. Main St., will be having free wine and beer tasting starting at 5:30 p.m. Pouring wines that will pair wonderfully with turkey with guest pourer Rob Gardner of the Country Vintner
Natural Beauty Studio, located at 414 W. Main St., is hosting an opening reception for local artist Emily Almarode.
Stone Soup Books, located at 908 W. Main St., features dinner and music with the sounds of acoustic pop by Fritz Horisk from 6-9 p.m.
You don’t want to miss out on Kids Avenue “Things to do for kids on Wayne Ave.”
Shenandoah Valley Art Center, 126 S. Wayne Ave., will be making hand turkeys and fall crafts for the little ones to create their own art along with music and treats until 7 p.m.
The Waynesboro Heritage Museum, on the corner of Wayne and Main, will be open until 8 p.m. featuring storytelling by Sophia Cliffe and Bonnie Weber at 6:30 p.m.
Short & Sweet Bakery, 133 N. Wayne Ave., has cookies for kids to decorate along for Turkey Day.
Kids and Sew On, 141 N. Wayne Ave., will have a reception for Grace Jones (age 9) as she introduces her new Christmas line of custom jewelry. A drawing for a wonderfully festive red handbag will conclude the evening.
Downtown businesses also open for 3rd Fridays include Chickpeas, Shukri’s BBQ, Valley Framing & Art Gallery, Main Street Discount, Ben Around Tattoos, Sleep On It!, and Extreme Expressions.
