Virginia Board for People with Disabilities accepting requests for grants

businessThe Virginia Board for People with Disabilities is seeking Letters of Interest (LOIs) in response to a Competitive Request for Proposal (RFP), which are due April 27 by 4:00 p.m. ET.

Approximately $400,000 is available for multiple awards. Grant projects will beginOctober 1, 2018, and are 100% federally funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Community Living, Administration on Intellectual and Developmental of Disabilities.

The RFP titled Creating Inclusive Communities focuses on the areas of integrated, competitive employment, inclusive education, and affordable, accessible housing.

Funding for individual projects may range from $10,000 to $150,000 and will be considered for projects that are designed to result in sustainable systems change, effect long-term changes to policies and practices, build capacity, and/or expand the scope of existing programs.
