Augusta: Brass 5 to play BRCC

The Roanoke-based Brass 5 will make the trek up I-81 Sunday for a concert at the Blue Ridge Community College Fine Arts Center.

The 3 p.m. show will showcase the band’s repertoire that ranges from from Renaissance and classical to Dixieland, jazz, rock and country.

Brass 5 been featured on local public radio programs and broadcast live on National Public Radio and has played across the United States and Europe.

For advance tickets, call BRCC at 540.453.2215 (from Harrisonburg), 540.213.7022 (from Staunton) or 540.941.3742 (from Waynesboro). Adult admission is $10; students, $5. Tickets will also be available at the door 45 minutes before the performance.
