Tree trimming set for Tuesday on Route 250 in Ivy

A contractor with the Virginia Department of Transportation will trim vegetation Tuesday to improve visibility on Route 250 (Ivy Road) at Route 676 (Tilman Road) in Albemarle County.

Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., traffic on Route 250 will be reduced to a single lane controlled by flagging at the intersection. To avoid impacts to rush hour traffic, any trimming work not completed by 3 p.m. will be performed Wednesday during the same work hours.

All work is weather permitting. Motorists should remain alert for traffic controls and use caution approaching the work zone.
