Expect minor delays for road resurfacing in Albemarle, Madison

road-work-headerLane closures will occur on several highways in Culpeper District this week as crews perform preparation work for roadway resurfacing.

Work will occur at the locations listed below Monday through Fridaybetween 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Motorists should obey traffic controls and expect minor delays.

 

Albemarle County

  • Route 20 (Scottsville Road) – Traffic reduced to one lane controlled by flagging and pilot truck from Route 708 (Red Hill Road) to just south of Route 53 (Thomas Jefferson Parkway).

 

Madison County

  • Route 29 (Seminole Trail) – Northbound traffic reduced to one lane from the Greene County line to the Culpeper County line.
  • Route 230 (Orange Road) – Traffic reduced to one lane controlled by flagging and pilot truck from Route 29 (Seminole Trail) to Route 15 (James Madison Highway).
