Virginia distilleries to join Crozet Arts and Crafts Festival

crozet arts festivalThe Crozet Spring Arts and Crafts Festival has served Virginia draft beer and wine from local vineyards for several years, and this year the festival will add to the local beverage options with products from two Virginia distilleries.

“We are so excited to host Belle Isle and the Virginia Distillery at the Festival in May,” says Festival director Amanda Polson, “In addition to featuring fine arts and craftwork at the Festival, we celebrate the culinary arts. And with the rich history of distilled spirits in Virginia, this seems like a perfect fit!”

With distillery employees on hand to showcase and educate attendees about their spirits, customers can look forward to learning about the process of creating moonshine and whiskey – classic Virginia spirits. Both distilleries will offer a menu of mixed drinks for customers to enjoy on-site, as well as bottles to take home.

The Crozet Spring Arts and Crafts Festival will be open 10am-5:30pm on Saturday and 10am-5pm on Sunday, May 12 and 13. The festival benefits and is located at Claudius Crozet Park in historic Crozet, Virginia, just 15 minutes from Charlottesville and the University of Virginia.

The Festival features over 120 juried fine art and craft exhibitors selling their own works in the big Festival Tent and Park Pavilions, as well as live music and entertainment all weekend, a special Children’s Area, and a great selection of food and drink. Adult admission is $7, kids 12 and under are free.
