State Veterinarian Dr. Charlie Broaddus and the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources have signed off on a permit to Nicolas Claus, of the North Pole, to allow Claus to bring his herd of “eight tiny reindeer” and one additional rare red-nosed reindeer into Virginia on the evening of Dec. 24.
