Following an extensive and thorough evaluation and review of alerting systems, the Charlottesville-UVa-Albemarle County Emergency Communications Center (ECC) has implemented the CodeRED system, a high-speed emergency notification service provided by Emergency Communications Network, based in Ormond Beach, Florida.
