Attorney General Mark Herring announced today that Virginia will join a coalition of seventeen other states and seven major municipalities taking legal action to support the Clean Power Plan, a national pollution-reduction strategy that will combat the impact of climate change on Virginia’s economy, coastal communities, the military, agriculture and forestry industry, and the health of Virginians.

Anew report shows that Virginia consumers who reenrolled in the Health Insurance Marketplace last year and who switched to a plan with the same level of coverage saved $12 per month after tax credits, or $141 annually, relative to what they would have paid had they remained in the same plan as in 2014.

Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Virginia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) has been awarded a $982,400 federal grant from the U.S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration to help establish Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs) across the state.
