In preparation for the upcoming 2015 football season, Liberty Athletics has announced game times for its five home contests at Williams Stadium. Liberty opens the season on Sept. 5 against Delaware State with kickoff set for 7 p.m. The contest marks the first time Liberty has begun its season at Williams Stadium since 2008.

For the first time in school history, the UVA men’s tennis team has a pair of semifinalists at the NCAA Singles Championship. Ryan Shane (Falls Church, Va.) and Thai-Son Kwiatkowski (Charlotte, N.C.) both won three-set quarterfinal matches Saturday at the Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center on the campus of Baylor University.

The Bowie Baysox (22-20) clipped the Richmond Flying Squirrels (16-23), 3-2, in front of a capacity crowd of 9,560 at The Diamond on Saturday night. With the win, the Baysox leveled the four-game series. The sellout crowd was the third of the season for the Squirrels.
