A new report released Thursday by the CDC reveals that the age-adjusted suicide rate increased 33 percent from 1999 to 2017. According to the CDC report, the age-adjusted suicide rate in 1999 was 10.5 per 100,000. In 2017, it had risen to 14.0 per 100,000.
