VDOT expanding holiday traveler services in Shenandoah Valley, Central Virginia

The Virginia Department of Transportation is providing motorists with extra services in the Shenandoah Valley and Charlottesville areas for the Thanksgiving holiday period. Travel times will be shown on portions of Interstate 81 and I-64. Additionally, Safety Service Patrols will be expanded on Sunday, November 29.

Atlantic Coast Pipeline LLC today submitted additional information to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for the 564-mile interstate natural gas transmission pipeline designed to meet the need for cleaner electricity generation, satisfy the growing demand for natural gas to heat homes and businesses, and promote consumer savings and economic growth.
