The Virginia Department of Transportation will install flashing yellow arrow traffic signals at five intersections in the Staunton District beginning Dec. 1. The flashing yellow arrow is intended only for left-turning traffic, and indicates that drivers may turn left after they yield to oncoming traffic.

The Virginia Department of Transportation is providing motorists with extra services in the Shenandoah Valley and Charlottesville areas for the Thanksgiving holiday period.
