The American Shakespeare Center Winter Season: The Actors’ Renaissance began previews this past weekend of The Merry Wives of Windsor and Henry IV, Part 1.

Now the troupe returns to Staunton to present the American Shakespeare Center’s Spring Season. Performances begin at the Blackfriars Playhouse April 11.

The American Shakespeare Center will end its Actors’ Renaissance Season and kick off the Spring Season with the annual Band Candy Benefit Concert on Sunday, April 8 at 7:30pm.

The American Shakespeare Center closed submissions for the first round of the Shakespeare’s New Contemporaries Project on February 15 at 11:59 pm PST. The company received 189 complete and eligible submissions from 32 US states and internationally from 10 countries.
