Latasha Lattimore had 30 points and 11 rebounds, and Kymora Johnson had a triple-double – 20 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists – to lead Virginia to an 80-67 win at Pitt on Sunday.

The key to the win was solid D in the fourth quarter, in which the Cavaliers (13-13, 5-9 ACC) held Pitt (11-16, 3-11 ACC) to 4-of-17 shooting.

A 9-1 UVA run over a 2:53 stretch of the fourth broke the game open, taking a five-point lead to a 78-65 bulge, after a pair of Johnson free throws with 1:16 to go.

The win snaps a modest two-game losing streak for Virginia, which had last played a week ago, losing at home to Virginia Tech, 87-62.

This week, UVA gets visits from the Left Coast – Cal on Thursday, Stanford on Sunday.
