EMU overcame a 17-point deficit from the first half and ended regulation on a 10-2 run to force OT. The Royals finally pulled away in the second overtime to win, 112-107.
Point guard Alicia Ygarza had her first career triple double with 17 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists and 6 steals. Jess Rheinheimer added 35 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks for EMU.
Cassidy Burkholder led Bridgewater with 24 points, 11 rebounds and 6 steals. Jessica Lam added 23.
It is the 10th straight win by EMU over Bridgewater in the series between the rivals.
