Will Darley: A long road home

Baltimore-area native Will Darley decided on a postgrad year four hours away at Fishburne Military School and, as fate would have it, will end up with the reward of being able to play college basketball close to home at Maryland-Baltimore County.

“It’s about a 25-minute drive. We’ll be there for every game,” said his father, Stuart, after Will had signed his letter of intent on Signing Day on Wednesday.

For Darley, a 6’7″ sharpshooter with a quick release, it’s been a day long in coming.

“I’ve been waiting for this day a long time. It’s finally here, finally gotten done. I’m excited,” the younger Darley said.
