Why was Ryan Blaney racing like it was a dirt track on a Saturday night?

Ryan Blaney won his first-ever NASCAR Cup Series championship on Sunday in Phoenix.

Blaney, who finished second in the race, sure did seem like he thought he was running on a dirt track in May, the way he was swapping paint with everybody.
