I’m guessing Stephen Colbert and Charlie Rose didn’t get the memo that Jim Webb is out of the VP Sweepstakes.
The Virginia Democratic senator will be double-dipping tonight on the late-night TV circuit. Webb will appear on “The Colbert Report” on Comedy Central at 11:30 p.m., and on “Charlie Rose” on PBS also at 11:30 p.m.
Webb announced two weeks ago that he will not be a candidate for the Democratic Party vice-presidential nomination. He had been considered a top candidate to run alongside presumptive Democratic Party presidential nominee Barack Obama until that point.
