Waynesboro Woman’s Club seeking nominees for award

waynesboroThe Waynesboro Woman’s Club is now taking nominees for the annual Outstanding Woman Award.

The award goes out to a member of the community who has been and continues to be dedicated to the betterment of Waynesboro through achievements or by volunteering.

Anyone can nominate a local woman for the honor.  The winner will be announced on March 28th  during the group’s meeting at the Woodmen of the World building.

Applications can be picked up at the Waynesboro Public Library or by calling the chairwoman of the group’s Selection Committee, Dottie Dollins, at (540)-942-5014.

Applications have to be postmarked by Feb. 29 in order to be considered.
