Tuesday, March 3, 6:30 pm – Pajama Night. Come in your jammies for a story and snack suitable for children in preschool or early elementary.

Tuesday, March 3, 7:00 pm – Craft Club. Bring your own project or try the project on the handout available at the circulation desk. Basic tools (scissors, tape, glue, etc.) are provided. Bring other supplies needed.

Saturday, March 7, 1:00-4:00 pm – Author Festival. Chat with your favorite local author, buy their books and get them signed.  Everyone is invited. Refreshments provided.

Tuesday, March 10, 9:30 am – Morning Matinee. Start your day off with a classic movie. Contact the library for the featured film. Light refreshments provided.

Friday, March 13, 6:30 pm – Friday Night at the Movies.  Enjoy new features on the big screen. Free popcorn and soda provided.

Saturday, March 14, 1:00 pm – Video-Mation. This Teen Tech Week program combines video and animation.

Tuesday, March 17, 6:30 pm – Pajama Night. Come in your jammies for a story and snack suitable for children in preschool or early elementary.

Wednesday, March 18, 7:00 pm – Wednesday Night Book Club. Fascinating and far ranging discussion with other book lovers. The book is provided, participants vote on selections, and a staff member leads the discussion. This month’s selection is The Invention of Wings by Sue Monk Kidd.

Friday, March 27, 6:30 pm – Friday Night at the Movies. Enjoy new features on the big screen. Free popcorn and soda provided.

Saturday, March 28, 12:00 pm – Puppet Show. The GoodLife Theatre presents “Little Red Rockethood” and other space age fairy tales.  Bring your family to the library for this energetic and interactive show.

Monday, March 30, 1:00 pm – Blanket Blockbuster. Bring a blanket to enjoy this family friendly movie. Free popcorn and drinks.

 

Weekly

Monday

10:30 am – Swing and Sway. This music and movement class is just the thing you need to get started in the morning. No stories, just song and dance. Ages 0-6.

11:00 am-1:00 pm – Chat-N-Play provides interactive play for your little one and conversation for you. Open to children ages 0-3 and their caregivers.

4:00 pm – WPL Knitters. Bring your materials and socialize with other knitters.

 

Tuesday

6:30 pm – Happy Tales. Furry canine friends are ready to listen to you read. Please make an appointment.

 

Wednesday

9:30 am –  Mother Goose Time is an interactive program featuring songs, finger-plays, books, movements, and nursery rhymes for children from birth through age two and their caregivers.

10:30 am – Story Time features books, stories, songs, puppets, flannel board activities, and crafts for children ages two through five accompanied by an adult.

 

Thursday

9:30 am – Mother Goose Time is an interactive program featuring songs, finger-plays, books, movements, and nursery rhymes for children from birth through age two and their caregivers.

10:00 amComputer classes are offered Thursday of every week. Classes rotate between Computer Basics, Email 101, Introduction to Microsoft Word, and OverDrive & Zinio Basics.  Call (540) 942-6746 to register.

10:30 amStory Time features books, stories, songs, puppets, flannel board activities, and crafts for children ages two through five accompanied by an adult.
