Waynesboro Public Library celebrates the holidays

Join Waynesboro Public Library for some holiday spirit this month. The library has the sounds of Christmas in two upcoming family friendly programs. Afterwards, browse the Friends of the Library Christmas Book Sale.

First up is the Quail Hill Quartet performing for Music at the Library on Tuesday, December 11 at noon. Quail Hill Quartet is a group of homeschooled children that play stringed instruments. Music at the Library is a free monthly concert series that features a variety of music performances and includes free pizza and soda.

Blue O’Connell also sets a festive mood on Thursday, December 13 at 7:00 p.m. as she leads a Christmas Sing-Along. O’Connell has performed for Music at the Library and returns to play Christmas favorites set to guitar and dulcimer music. Cookies and apple cider will be served.

The book sale is happening on the main floor of the library until the end of December. The FOL volunteers have saved some great books for this annual mini-sale. There are a variety of books at great prices and they make great gifts. Proceeds support WPL.
