VMI baseball completes community service project

Chris Graham

vmi_logoOn Nov. 7, members of the VMI baseball team completed a community service project in the Lexington area.

A good portion of the team’s players, along with head coach Jonathan Hadra and non-baseball cadets, moved and assembled furniture to aid the Project Horizon organization with recent efforts to move into the new, expanded portion of its facility, located on Varner Lane in Lexington.

Project Horizon is dedicated to reducing domestic, dating, and sexual violence in the Lexington, Buena Vista, and Rockbridge County area through crisis intervention services and prevention programs. For more information, please visit projecthorizon.org.
