Veterans Job Fair in Keswick on Oct. 26

economic-forecast-headerThe Piedmont Workforce Network, the Virginia Workforce Center, the Virginia Employment Commission and the Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services are sponsoring a job fair/hiring event targeted specifically for veterans, veteran spouses and veterans with disabilities.

The event will take place on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The American Legion Hall, Post 74, at 3025 Louisa Road, Keswick.

This year’s event will also be open to the general public.  This event will provide area employers the opportunity to meet face-to-face with a select group of job seekers who possess highly developed teamwork, leadership, problem solving and supervisory skills.  Additionally, these talented job candidates have a unique variety of job skills, along with many valuable transferable skills and experiences, which they can bring to any organization.

Employers are looking to hire individuals who can become valuable additions to any workplace and are ready and willing to start immediately.
