United Nations of Comedy Tour comes to The Paramount

theater-masks2The United Nations of Comedy Tour returns to the paramount theater for the 4th consecutive year on Saturday, November 15.

Following last year’s extremely successful visit, the tour’s creator has assembled a heavyweight line-up of national comedians as seen on The David Letterman Show, NBC’s Last Comic Standing, Comedy Central, BET Comic View, MTV, Life After Ellen, Kathy Griffin’s “Life on the D-List”, The Logo Network and many other national programs.

This year’s show will feature all of the following national comedians:  New York’s Own -Adrienne Iapalucci (Late Show w/ David Letterman, NBC’s Last Comic Standing, Comedy Central), Sean Donnely (Comedy Central, NBC’s Last Comic Standing, Late Show w/ David Letterman, TruTV), Jon Laster (Winner of NBC’s Stand Up for Diversity, 3Time BET Comic View All-Star, Comedy Central), California’s Own – Bridget McManus (The Queen Latifah Show, The Women of AfterEllen.com, Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List, WB.com) and the exclusive host of the tour – Washington D.C.‘s – Funnyman Skiba  (4 Time BET Comic View All-Star, Comedy Central, Co-Host of the Raheem DeVaughn Radio Show).  This mega star-studded line-up is guaranteed to keep you laughing hysterically.

The United Nations of Comedy Tour was founded with the premise of promoting diversity through laughter.  The tour’s creator set out to bring people together who may see an image of themselves on stage as an attempt to represent the community at large.  The paramount theater was chosen as the host venue for its elegant appeal, historical wealth and its extremely convenient location. Several parking facilities are nearby and street parking after 6p is free.  This event is sponsored by Cville Weekly, Eve Hesselroth of Frank Hardy Inc. On Saturday, November 15, 2014, doors of the paramount theater open at 7p and the show starts at 8p.  Tickets are only $34.50 and VIP tickets are $45 which includes the Meet and Greet Reception featuring a live performance by William Walter & Co., Food and Drinks 6:30p-7:45p and Premium Seating in the Center Orchestra Section of the Paramount.
