‘The Chris Graham Show’ talks Virginia Tech football, World Series

Chris Graham

Virginia Tech, at 4-4, still, surprisingly, has its ACC Championship Game destiny in its hands.

AugustaFreePress.com editor Chris Graham breaks down the Hokies’ hopes to stay alive in the ACC title race in this installment of “The Chris Graham Show.”

Chris talks sports with WREL-1450AM host Jim Bresnahan every Tuesday. Virginia Tech gets an early start on the college-football weekend the next two Thursdays, this week at Coastal Division leader Miami, next week at home against Atlantic Division leader Florida State.

As much as the Hokies have struggled in 2012, wins in their next two games would put them in the drivers’ seat for another appearance in the ACC Championship Game in November.

Their rivals in Charlottesville, meanwhile, are looking just to get a W on the heels of a six-game losing streak that has UVa. Nation all aflutter. It won’t get any easier this week on the road at North Carolina State, which needs a win to keep its fading ACC title hopes alive.

  • The guys break down the San Francisco Giants World Series sweep.
