Stretch of South Liberty Street in Harrisonburg to temporarily close

Contributors

Crews will begin work Monday on the replacement of a sanitary sewer manhole that will close a stretch of South Liberty Street in Harrisonburg for much of next week.

The street will be closed starting Monday, May 11, at 7 a.m. and stretching until Thursday, May 14, at 5 p.m. between West Market Street and West Bruce Street. Drivers should consider High Street as an alternate route.

Partners Excavating will conduct the work. It is possible the closure may terminate early depending on the speed of construction.
