Staunton Senior Center Continues Support of Pageant

ssc-headerThe Staunton Senior Center continued in its support of the Ms. Virginia Senior America Pageant by providing coffee for the orientation meeting that was held in the Wintergarden Room of Gypsy Hill Place on Thursday, February 21.

The purpose of the meeting, conducted by several members of the Ms. Virginia Senior America Organization, was to meet ten ladies of elegance (60 years and plus) who are interested in becoming contestants in this year’s pageant which is to be held at the nTelos Theatre in Gypsy Hill Place on Friday, May 17. Of the 10 ladies present, six gave positive acceptances to compete in the pageant. Another orientation was held on Thursday, February 28 in the Arlington, VA, area for perspective contestants in the Northern Virginia region.
