A Delaware man is dead after a fatal alcohol-fueled motorcycle accident in Rockingham County on Saturday evening.

Kenneth L. Willey Sr., 50, of Seaford, Del., died at the scene. Alcohol and speed are considered factors in the crash, according to Virginia State Police.

VSP is investigating the single-vehicle fatal crash on March 29 at 5:15 p.m. in the 5000 block of Orchard Drive.

Willey’s 2007 Victory motorcycle was traveling north on Orchard Drive when it failed to maneuver a curve, ran off the right side of the roadway and collided with a mailbox, pole and an embankment.

Willey was wearing a helmet.

The crash remains under investigation.
