Report a drug dealer online: Waynesboro

Chris Graham

policeThe Waynesboro Police Department has added a new page to its website that allows citizens to report a drug dealer online.

The page, accessed from the left menu on the department’s home page, features a form that can then be submitted electronically. Persons wishing to let the department know about a suspected drug dealer can elect to provide information that allows a detective to contact them for follow-up or they can simply submit the form anonymously.

Even if the reporting person wishes to remain anonymous the information provided could be crucial to an on going investigation or it could be enough, when combined with other information gleaned from unrelated sources, to initiate a new case.

The department launched this new initiative in hopes that it can continue to leverage technology and new methods of communication with citizens in our collaborative efforts to maintain a safe and vibrant community in which to live.
