One dead in Albemarle County residential structure fire on Saturday

One person is dead from injuries in a structure fire on the 6000 block of Monacan Trail Road in Albemarle County on Saturday.

The identity of the deceased has not been made public.

The fire was reported at 5:10 p.m. on Saturday.

The Albemarle County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
