odu logoOld Dominion University football coach Bobby Wilder announced the hiring of Tim Kovacs as the assistant recruiting coordinator.

“We are excited to welcome Tim back to our family from UAB. His excitement and commitment to his alma mater here at Old Dominion is evident,” Wilder said.  “I know that our program is better immediately with the hiring of Tim Kovacs as our assistant recruiting coordinator.”

Kovacs started out as a student assistant at Old Dominion, primarily helping out with recruiting.  Following his graduation at ODU, Kovacs served as the recruiting and operations intern before he was promoted to the associate director of recruiting and player personnel.

“I am extremely excited to be back at Old Dominion.  I look forward to being able to work at my alma mater, which is a place that I consider very special,” Kovacs said.
