Oath Keepers plan clean-up of Hite Hollow Gun Range

AFP

newspaperThe next local meeting of Oath Keepers will be at the Staunton Public Library on Saturday at 2pm.

Topics will be two-fold:

  • To discuss plans for a July clean up of the Hite Hollow gun range on Route 42 in Augusta Springs, and
  • To discuss issues involved in preparing a vehicle trauma kit.

Plans for the Hite Hollow range clean-up include replacing the roofs above both the gun and rifle stands, and a cook-out at the end of the day. Oath Keepers are looking for donations for food and materials, including, possibly, metal roofing. We need volunteers for assorted tasks.

After you watch the Patriot Nurse video, please jot down questions or thoughts about your areas of expertise. We anticipate that the development of a kit and an understanding of its usefulness will be an iterative process as we each become more comfortable with the possible use of the kit in an emergency. There is no point including equipment about which we neither have an understanding nor a willingness to use.

All members of the public are welcome but a special invitation is extended to all current and retired military, police, national guard, reserve and first responders, both EMTs and fire and rescue.

Founded by Stewart Rhodes, Oath Keepers is a non-partisan association of persons who pledge to fulfill the oath all military and police take to “defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”

Stewart Rhodes is a Yale Law School graduate, teacher of military history at Yale, US Army paratrooper who suffered a disabling injury during a night time parachute jump. Oath Keepers Board of Directors includes an impressive collection of current and former Army, Navy and Marine members, police, and a retired Arizona sheriff.
