New DPVA web ad: ‘No, No, No, Sorry’

The Democratic Party of Virginia released a new web ad on the State Investigation into Ken Cuccinelli’s office’s role helping out-of-state gas companies in a lawsuit against Virginia taxpayers.

Earlier this week, Cuccinelli ducked, dodged and refused when asked about the investigation and the direct assistance his office gave to companies (one of which is a huge campaign donor) trying to avoid paying Southwest Virginia landowners millions in gas mining royalties.

Earlier this year a federal judge said she was “shocked’ that Cuccinelli’s office was advising the two companies as they opposed Virginia landowners in a class action lawsuit over the unpaid royalties.

Cuccinelli may not want to discuss this latest example of him putting his own financial interests ahead of Virginia families, but voters won’t forget that he chose to fight for campaign donors instead of landowners in Southwest Virginia.
