A 1-2 week dropped Eastern Mennonite to #16 in this week’s D3hoops.com national poll.

After a win over Southern Virginia coupled with a pair of ODAC losses in the past 10 days, the men dropped five spots in the most recent poll. The ODAC remains a strong presence on the national scene as Guilford took over the nation’s top spot for the first time this year. Virginia Wesleyan held at the No. 7 spot and Randolph-Macon continued its freefall to No. 18. Since being ranked No. 1 three weeks ago, the Yellow Jackets have lost four of six, including games against each of the ODAC’s other ranked teams.

Williams moved up to No. 2 this week with Washington University holding at No. 3. Wisconsin-Stevens Point fell out of the top spot to No. 4 after their second loss to No. 6 Wisconsin-Whitewater. St. Thomas moved up one notch to No. 5.

Eastern Mennonite, now 15-3 overall and 8-2 in the ODAC, hosts Lynchburg Wednesday night in Harrisonburg. The Runnin Royals then welcome in No. 7 Virginia Wesleyan on Saturday at 1:30pm. The next win for EMU will also tie the mark for most wins in a season.
