Culpeper County: Single-vehicle crash takes life of Burr Hill woman on Monday

A Burr Hill woman died at the scene of a single-vehicle crash on Route 686 in Culpeper County on Monday morning.

The 9:05 a.m. crash took the life of Cecelia A. Frye, 69, of Burr Hill, according to Virginia State Police.

Per VSP, Frye was driving a 2001 Ford Focus east on Route 686 when she ran off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, crossed the double solid centerline, ran off the left side of the roadway and overturned.

The crash remains under investigation.
