Comedy Night at the Gateway features Bullock, Braman

Two of Richmond’s favorite comedians will take to WTA’s Gateway on June 23 at 8 p.m. Jim Zarling, host of the Gateway’s comedy nights has enticed Ray Bullock and J. Walter Braman to join him for an evening of entertainment at 329 West Main in Downtown Waynesboro.

Ray Bullock started out with Clowns of America in 1978 at the age of 2.  In 1995, he began touring as a stand up and Improv comic. He has played in major comedy clubs including The 100 Club in London England, Dangerfield’s in NYC, The Comedy Store in LA and Yuk Yuk’s in Toronto Ontario.  He has also worked with some of the best names in comedy such has Doug Stanhope.  In 1999, he formed The 9:55 Club with Elizabeth “Betzi” Hekman and in 2009 he founded Fools Day Comedy. Bullock has appeared in 14 films and countless stage productions.

J. Walter Braman currently resides in Richmond. He received an English degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. J. Walter was voted “Fan Favorite” at Richmond Clash of the Comics for May 2012 and is currently a member of Fool’s Day Comedy.
