Contributors

charlottesvilleThe City of Charlottesville and its regional partners have been training the past few months in an effort to ensure public safety in events based on lessons learned from the Aug. 12, 2017, white supremacist rallies.

The community is invited to hear an update from regional officials on these preparations at a special community briefing to be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 12, at Mount Zion First African Baptist Church. There will also be an open forum to address questions.

This event will be streamed live on the City’s Facebook (@CharlottesvilleCityHall) and Twitter (@CvilleCityHall) accounts and recorded for re-broadcast on the City’s Government Access Channel (Comcast Cable Ch. 10).
