Brown, a 2008 Waynesboro High School graduate, totaled 29 points and 11 rebounds, while reigning Big South Player of the Week Warley added 26 points and 14 boards. Their efforts helped Liberty improve to 15-4 overall and 6-1 in the Big South.
The Lady Flames now sit in second place in the conference standings, one-half game behind Big South leader Gardner-Webb.
High Point had won nine of its last 10 games entering Saturday’s contest, but the Panthers were limited to 24 percent (6-of-25) shooting during the second half. As a result, they fall to 13-8 overall and 6-2 in Big South action.
Brown, who played a career-high 39 minutes, scored 19 points and pulled down eight rebounds in the second half alone.
Her 29 points is the highest single-game scoring output by a Lady Flame this season.
