Blue Ridge Community College is bringing together over 35 community agencies and employers for its second Community Resource and Internship Fair on Tuesday, September 16, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Plecker Workforce Center.
The fair is an opportunity for students and the public to learn about resources, internships, and volunteer services available locally. Additionally, a workshop called “A Strong Foundation” will be held from 1-1:30 p.m. in the Recreation Center to help participants learn skills to balance academic and personal lives.
The event, sponsored by SOAR, Beyond the Blue, Career Services and the brcc Educational Foundation, is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Emily Staubus at (540) 453-2224.
