Bedford County | 93-year-old woman dies after crash on White House Road

A crash in Bedford County on Wednesday morning killed a 93-year-old woman, according to Virginia State Police.

Virginia Eilene Luken, of Huddleston, was injured in the crash and transported to a hospital where she later died.

The single-vehicle accident occurred at 9:40 a.m. on White House Road, just south of Airport Road.

Her Dodge Caravan ran off the right side of the road, struck a culvert and overturned.

The crash remains under investigation.
